Transparent, outcome-based pricing

Pricing that scales with incidents, not headcount.

PagerDuty's $21–41/user/month opacity is the #1 pain we hear from your team. We charge for what the agent actually resolves. You don't pay more when you hire.

Why we price this way
We charge for incidents the agent actually resolves — not per engineer on your team. You don't pay more when you hire.

PagerDuty bills you for every seat on your team, whether incidents happen or not. A 30-person team paying Business tier is $1,230/month before the 3am pages even start. We think that's backwards. Our pricing is 100% correlated with value delivered: if the agent resolves an incident autonomously, it saved you a page. That's worth $3. Nothing else.

PagerDuty / OpsGenie model
  • $21–41/user/month regardless of incident volume
  • 30-engineer team = $1,230+/mo before incidents happen
  • You pay for seats even on-call-free weeks
  • Add-ons for AI ($415/mo) and AIOps ($699/mo)
OnCallReady model
  • $149/mo base + $3 per auto-resolved incident
  • Hire 10 more engineers? Same price.
  • Quiet month? Lower bill.
  • Only pay for outcomes, not overhead

Pricing FAQ

What counts as a resolved incident?
An incident is resolved when OnCallReady's agent executes a runbook action and the alert clears without human intervention. If the agent can't match a runbook, or if it escalates to your on-call engineer, that incident is not billed. You only pay for outcomes.
Do unresolved incidents cost anything?
No. Escalations, false positives, and cases where the agent doesn't have a matching runbook are completely free. We only charge when we save you a page.
Can I switch tiers?
Yes, any time. Upgrades take effect immediately. Downgrades take effect at the end of your billing cycle. No penalties, no sales calls.
Are there volume discounts?
Yes. Enterprise plans include custom per-incident pricing based on your volume. If you're consistently resolving 500+ incidents per month, contact us — we'll work out a rate that makes sense.
Is self-hosted / on-prem available?
Yes, on Enterprise. The on-prem agent runs inside your infrastructure and never sends alert payloads outside your environment. The control plane communicates only with anonymized metadata for billing. See our security model →
How does this compare to PagerDuty or OpsGenie pricing?
PagerDuty charges $21–41/user/month on their Business and Digital Operations tiers — that's $630–$1,230/month for a 30-engineer team before incidents happen, before AI add-ons ($415/mo), before AIOps ($699/mo). OpsGenie was sunset by Atlassian and is being migrated to Jira Service Management. We charge $149/month base plus $3 per incident the agent resolves. A 30-person team resolving 100 incidents/month pays $449 — vs. $1,230+ with PagerDuty. Full comparison →
What if my incident volume spikes unexpectedly?
Growth plans include automatic incident billing — you're never cut off mid-incident. You'll see the charge on your next invoice. If a spike is anomalous (e.g., a misconfigured alert flooding thousands of events), contact us and we'll review it.
